自1990年起由Taka Hirohama作為樂隊領班，Saturday Night Jazz Orchestra (SNJO) 一直滋養及積極發展本地爵士大樂隊文化。SNJO致力演奏正宗搖擺爵士大樂隊風格，以 Count Basie、Duke Ellington、Benny Goodman及Glenn Miller的風格為藍本。
SNJO亦活躍於多個音樂節，如香港國際爵士音樂節、爵士世界系列、香港夏季爵士音樂節，並曾遠赴上海世博會香港週及台北演出。他們同時喜愛與年輕一代音樂人合作，如創辦香港青年爵士樂團、KongU Big Band、Big Band Jazz Academy等。
Led by Taka Hirohama since 1990, Saturday Night Jazz Orchestra (SNJO) has become an established big band brand in Hong Kong who kept developing and nurturing Big Band Jazz culture in town. SNJO focuses on playing authentic swing big band style referencing Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Benny Goodman and Glenn Miller‘s.
SNJO has actively participated in the HK International Jazz Festival, Jazz World Series, HK Summer Jazz Festival and also overseas Shanghai Expo for Hong Kong Week, and performed in Taipei. They are also keen on working with local youth musicians, such as started the Hong Kong Youth Jazz Orchestra, KongU Big Band, Big Band Jazz Academy and more projects.

S.T.A.O.三重奏由爵士結他手Mark Leung、Moon Wong、Brian Mok組成。樂隊的演奏曲目以Swing、Bebop、Bossa Nova、Ballad和Jazz Waltz為主。三位成員除了是合作無間的演出夥伴，也是相識已久的師徒。是次演出，樂隊將以結他三重奏的組合呈現不同風格的爵士樂標準曲，在弦線之間切磋交流。
The S.T.A.O. trio is formed by jazz guitarists Mark Leung, Moon Wong, and Brian Mok. The group’s repertoire focuses on jazz standards in the style of Swing, Bebop, Bossa Nova, Ballad and Jazz Waltz. Apart from their frequent collaborations at different performances, the three members share a long-standing teacher-student relationship. In this performance, they will be presenting a number of familiar tunes in the form of a guitar trio as they engage in a six-string musical conversation.

才華洋溢的意大利巴拉圭裔結他手Orlando Bonzi以其熱情溫潤的嗓音和技巧高超的演奏，與一衆音樂好友送上火花四溢的爵士音樂。
2013 年，他在巴西發行了《Recurso Natural》 專輯，與Adriano Trindade、傳奇貝斯手Marcelo Mariano、Bruno Cardozo、Sergio Carvalho等音樂家合作。 2014 年移居西班牙，並邀請了Gary Willis、Gergo Borlai、 Jeff Ballard 、Perico Sambeat等著名音樂家灌錄一系列原創爵士作品。現居倫敦並活躍於城中爵士圈子。
The Italian-Paraguayan guitarist Orlando Bonzi with his special voice and unique way of playing.
In 2013 he released an album ‘Recurso Natural’ in Brazil with iconic musicians such as Adriano Trindade, Bass legend Marcelo Mariano, Bruno Cardozo and Sergio Carvalho. In 2014 Orlando moved to Spain and recorded a collection of his new Jazz compositions and presented renowned musicians such as Gary Willis, Gergo Borlai, Jeff Ballard, Perico Sambeat and more. Now resides in London and remain active in the jazz scene.

由Joshua Boaz Lam 領軍的For The Love Of Big Band (FTLO) 是一隊成立於2021年的本地爵士大樂隊，本著透過舉辦不同工作坊及為本地爵士樂手提供大型演奏機會，凝聚一個爵士合奏社區。 2022年他們曾於西九文化區舉辦的自由空間爵士音樂節演出，亦是新興爵士平台「翻騰三周半」的常客。 這次演出FTLO更將為觀眾獻上由兩首由樂隊領隊創作的全新作品；亦是Livehouse首次舉行如此陣容鼎盛的爵士大樂隊演出，敬請期待這緊密而又激動人心爵士音樂夜！
For The Love Of Big Band (FTLO) led by Joshua Boaz Lam is a local big band founded in 2021. The group aims to build a jazz ensemble community by holding workshops and providing large-scale ensemble performance opportunities to local jazz musicians. They have performed in West Kowloon's flagship event Freespace Jazz Fest in 2022; and often appear in the young and much sought after jazz platform Fountain de Chopin. FTLO will bring to the audience two new original compositions by the bandleader; this is also Livehouse's first time hosting full scale jazz big band in the environment. Please join us for an intimate and exciting night with jazz big band music!

今個周五的 #自由空間音樂擊（2月10日）由三位爵士結他手組成的「S.T.A.O Trio」打頭陣，樂隊風格遊走於搖攞、咆勃、巴薩諾瓦、抒情以及華爾滋，Mark Leung、Moon Wong和Brian Mok三師徒將以六弦樂器演繹標準曲；下半場還有「陀地爵士大龍鳳」創辦人、鋼琴手徐樂心（Rod Chui）接力，夥拍低音結他手Ming Chan及鼓手Almond Yeung 以「Pre-Renaissance Crisis」組合繼續送上令人隨歌擺動的爵士樂。
This week’s live music sessions kick off with the S.T.A.O Trio, formed by jazz guitarists Mark Leung, Moon Wong and Brian Mok. Their repertoire focuses on jazz standards in styles ranging from swing, bebop, bossa nova to ballad and jazz waltz. Next, the piano trio Pre-Renaissance Crisis will take over in the second half, led by the founder of “Local Jazz Convention” Rod Chui at the keyboard and accompanied by Ming Chan (bass) and Almond Yeung (drums).

甚麼是 Swing Dance？
Swing Dance 源自 20-40 年代的紐約，是一種由非裔美國人演變出來，融合了非洲節奏律動和歐洲雙人舞特色的社交舞。Swing Dance 着重社交，因此沒有跳舞經驗的人都能輕易上手。搖擺舞不會固定舞伴，而且派對氣氛濃厚，很容易識到新朋友！

關於 Rootless Voyagers：
Brought together by their common passion for Jazz, Rootless Voyagers was formed by members of Kong U Big Band in 2017. Currently composed of Joshua Lam (Piano), Nelson Fung (Bass), Eaton Lam (Drums), and Brian Cheung (Saxophone), the group brings together a myriad of influences, from Bop to Hop, to explore Jazz's boundaries and ascertain their own identities. The group has played at various local venues and events including Freespace Jazz Fest 2020 and Jazz Marathon 2019.

「」一月一日開幕音樂節 - Room Davis樂隊介紹！！
就係翻騰開幕音樂節前三個星期之際，等我地率先介紹下果日其中一個主舞台，Room Davis表現嘅組合啦！
喺Room Davis演出的全部都係年輕而up and coming的出色樂手。例如Addison 和Lauren，一位是小號手，一位是鐵琴手，都是今天在爵士樂界廣受注目的新人，而他們和Samuel及Bowen的duo，都是極難得的音樂配搭，我們都非常期待他們會擦出怎樣的音樂火花！
Vera喺香港難得的爵士女vocalist。有聽開live jazz的樂迷，都一定有見過她的身影，聽過她的演出。他的聲線以及選曲都極具性格，而且充滿能量。今次連同她的quartet一起演出，會為大家帶來最澎湃的演出。
節目嚟到呢度，氣氛將會一轉。Brian Mok對傳統藍調和爵士standards都極之熟悉。他的結他獨奏，將會是一個intimate的音樂體驗。
最後就係壓軸的Fountain Jazz Tribe。以合唱團形式唱爵士，可以盡情享受美妙的和聲，強烈的節奏。同埋人聲的感染力。
啲飛去得好快，先到先得，喜歡爵士樂就真係唔好錯過！
